Fulfilling the Dreams of Orhangazi’s Youth

As the Orhangazi Aviation and Training Association, we organised for young aviation
enthusiasts from Orhangazi to visit the Turkish Airlines Training Center, where they had the opportunity to use the full-motion simulators of Airbus A330 and Boeing B747 passenger jets. Under the supervision of our Association President, Captain Ergin AKGÜL, each young person individually operated the aircraft simulations, performing tasks such as landing, takeoff, and turbulent flight.

Through this activity, which served as a continuation of the theory training we conducted in Orhangazi, these young enthusiasts took their first steps toward becoming pilots. After touring all the units of the Training Center and gathering information, our enthusiasts enjoyed lunch at the facility, before visiting Hezarfen Airport and the Ayjet Flight School. Here, our young aviators learned about the processes related to becoming a pilot from the Ayjet Flight School educators.

Accompanied by our Association President, Captain Pilot Ergin AKGÜL, these bright young minds had a full day of aviation experience, including real flight practice.
